Matt Toso:  serves as Senior Pastor  Email:

Pastor Matt was born in Iowa,  raised in Minnesota (and a die-hard Vikings fan!) and now loves living in Holmen among the bluffs and coulees.  He met his wife,  Lori, on a blind date,  found out they were born in the same hospital,  have been married for twelve years,  and now enjoy their 3 wonderful girls Jordan,  Imani and Hannah. Theodore, the family dog, is also an important part of the family.

Pastor Matt is a graduate of Luther College and Luther Seminary.  His work passions include thinking about passing on faith in Jesus from generation to generation and helping people find their God-given gifts to serve the world.

In their time together his family loves to be outdoors playing,  hiking,  and biking.  Personally Pastor Matt loves to read the news,  follow politics,  and spends way too much time on his iPad.

Pastor Allison was born and raised in the Midwest and has lived in several states as an adult for school and work. She earned a B.S. in Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Illinois, played with Nutri-Grain Bars and Pop-Tarts as an intern at Kellogg’s, received her M.S. in Food Science at Michigan State University, and had a ten year marketing career at Hormel Foods. While working, Allison studied and became a lay pastor, working part time at a local congregation. Hearing God calling her into full time ministry, she received a Master of Divinity degree from Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, IA and interned for a year at Ascension Lutheran Church in Cheyenne, WY. Allison is passionate about preaching and teaching, outreach, pastoral care, and ecumenical ministry.  Don’t be surprised if you see Allison walking her Basset Hound mix around town! She loves attending the local farmer’s market and working out at the YMCA.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, and getting to know people in the community she lives in.

Pastor Dan HendersonPastor Dan Henderson serves as Visitation Pastor.

Born in Decorah, Iowa, and growing up between beautiful southwestern Wisconsin and metropolitan Chicago, Dan learned to love nature and people as ‘our Father’s world.’

Dan graduated from Luther College (Decorah again, where he also met Lynn) and Luther Seminary. Following ordination, they studied in France and served in French-speaking Africa from 1978-86. There they were blessed with three sons—Bruce, Nils, and Kjetil. Returning to the States, Dan served the Fountain and Trinity congregations of Hustler, WI from 1987 until the family moved to Holmen in 1996.

Dan enjoys serving the church’s mission in the growing Holmen community. He works with visitation and pastoral care. He loves stories—both the ones people share and The Story of God’s love for us all in Jesus. With Lynn, he finds balance in home and family, reading, running, and exploring the outdoors with his camera.

Matt Iverson serves as Director of Youth and Family Ministries  email:

Matt was born in Rapid City, SD. but spent most of his younger years growing up in Viroqua, WI where his dad was director of Sugar Creek Bible Camp and his mom was a teacher in the school district.  This instilled from an early age a passion for ministry and working with young people.  While in school at Luther College Matt spent his summers working at Sugar Creek where he met, got engaged to and married his wife Jodi.  Since getting married in 2005 they have lived in Siren, WI. Northfield, MN. and now back here in the coulee region.  Both Matt, Jodi and their son Soren love to explore and play in the outdoors and try to take advantage of any opportunity to go on a hike, get on a bike, camp in the woods or get in a boat (preferably one with paddles).  Matt has a passion for sharing the love of Christ with young people as well as helping families and people of all generations create faith formative environments and experiences.
